SPONSORSHIP PROPOSAL

1. Description of the Project

To project aims to send 4 of Mongolia’s best professional cyclists to Belgium for the duration of less than 3 months, during which they will compete in UCI1 Cyclo Cross World Cups, top level commercial competitions and finally, the UCI World Championships.

The goal is to collect UCI points, develop the riders’ experience and showcase Asian cycling to the European public, offering Return on Investment (ROI) to our sponsors.

The competitions will be held in various countries in Europe: Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, France and the Czech Republic.

The overarching vision is to raise the profile and the quality of the Mongolian National Cycling Team. Through its participation in the UCI Cyclo Cross season, the riders are exposed to top level cycling and they will be able to collect UCI points. The races are televised in several countries, so it will also raise awareness of Asian cycling.

A final advantage of the Cyclo Cross project is that the riders will be able to bypass the severe Mongolian winter and continue their preparations of the regular Asian road bike season. Cyclo Cross bridges the regular road bike cycling seasons of the riders.

The project is supported by the UCI, as well as several Belgian cycling magazines and newspapers, who will monitor and support our progress.

Our main sponsor is former World Champion Johan Museeuw, winner of 10 Cycling Classics, 3x Paris Roubaix and 2x UCI World Cup Season.

Through his top-of-the-line bikes: http://www.museeuwbikes.be ,  our team will be supported with the best material on the market.

Both Johan Museeuw (Bel), as 3x Cyclo Cross World Champion Mario De Clercq (Bel), as 1x Cyclo Cross World Champion Sven Nys (Bel), will be collaborating with us to develop the skills of our riders.
